ACCESSIBILITY

The Oakland Museum of California is accessible to wheelchair users; we offer a limited number of wheelchairs at the Ticketing Desk on a first-come, first-served basis. Our restrooms on all levels, and telephones on level 1 and level 2 are wheelchair-accessible, as are all open galleries. The elevator serves all three floors. A TTY for visitor use is located in the hallway outside the cafe (level 2).

Special tour accommodations may be arranged with advance notice through the Docent office (510-318-8470). Assistive listening devices for performances and large-print guides for exhibitions are available by contacting the Ticketing Desk on the day of your visit. If you have other special needs, please contact OMCA at least two weeks in advance of your visit by calling 510-318-8425 X2.

Our parking garage is located on Oak Street between 10th and 12th Streets and provides spaces on the upper level for disabled parking as well as a ramp into the Museum. Please note the vertical clearance of the garage is 6'8".
